Keep Moving

When playing slots try not to stay at one machine too long. If you keep moving you will increase your odds of finding a small or large jackpot.
Set a limit. I personally try to never go over 20 dollars per machine for dollar machines and 5 dollars for quarter machines.
Max bet always, this increases your odds of running into a loose machine,considering that you are not a local pro slot player who knows where the loose slots are placed.
Also, most importantly, try to play only between 10 pm and 3 am, this is your prime time for gambling and it increases your odds due to higher volume of players.
Remember in the end people have to lose money for someone to win, and casinos dont want you to win a small or large jackpot without a huge crowd witnessing the event. To see someone win is the best marketing ploy for casinos.
Another strategy to try is to search for a slot where someone hit a decent jackpot and hang around that machine for a while, watch others play and wait until you feel it will hit again.
Remember it is highly unlikley for a single machine to pay out 2 jackots back to back but if you patiently let others pump money into it, sooner or later it probably will pay out again.
Above all make sure you have fun, playing slots is only a game. "Dont chase the dragon..."
